Update: FFM integration required before enabling EDE

To comply with CMS’ FFM account integration rules, Agents have to integrate their account prior to enabling EDE on their own. When HealthSherpa detects an unintegrated Agent account is attempting to enable EDE, we now display a dedicated page that explains this requirement and conveniently allows them to integrate before continuing on.

Additionally, once an Agent has successfully integrated, we automatically return them to the appropriate step in the EDE enable process.

As a reminder, CMS requires a SSN on the application for the primary applicant, anyone applying for coverage, and any other income recipients. The only time this is not required is when someone does not have a SSN (e.g., an immigrant or newborn baby). However, alternative documentation will need to be provided.

Agents and Agencies now have the option to send an automatic email to active clients reminding them about their unpaid binder payments 15, 5, and 1 day before the deadline.
