Join one of our upcoming agent training sessions where you can learn about your HealthSherpa for Agents account or dig into a variety of micro topics. Webinars typically include live demonstrations from our platform, Q&A discussion, and often have several training dates available.

We are currently offering the following training webinars in English & Spanish:

All who register for a webinar will receive a copy of the recording afterwards. So, even if you aren't available during a scheduled training time, you can still benefit from the information simply by registering for a session.


Post-enrollment: ensure your consumers effectuate

After a consumer is enrolled into a health plan, there are often still steps that must be completed before their coverage can begin.

In this webinar, we will review Data Matching Issues (DMIs) & SEP Verification Issues (SVIs), why they occur, and review HealthSherpa tools and reports that help agents manage these all-in-one place. We'll also discuss binder payments and the impact they have on plan activation.

This webinar is 1 hour, and available in English & Spanish.


Follow-up documentation

When consumers are required to submit documents after enrollment, the types of documents needed can vary based on the Data Matching Issue (DMI) or SEP Verification Issue (SVI) generated.

In this webinar, we will review how to identify the specific DMI or SVI that has occurred, where to find the list of acceptable documents, and how to upload those documents within your HealthSherpa account. We'll also discuss how HealthSherpa allows you to collect this documentation early, highlight platform reminders and reporting capabilities, and answer other common questions around follow-up documentation.

Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs)

Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs) are certain timeframes outside of the annual Open Enrollment Period (OEP) when a consumer can can enroll in ACA coverage or change ACA plans.

In this webinar we will review Qualifying Life Events (QLEs) that can result in SEPs, documentation that may be required to verify SEP eligibility, and how to handle different enrollment scenarios.

CMS' Invalid Action error

As of July 19, 2024, CMS blocks agents and brokers from making changes to a consumer’s FFM enrollment unless the agent is already associated with the consumer’s enrollment. This applies to all agent-assisted enrollment applications across all enrollment platforms. Join us as we walk through this change and review how you can proceed with enrollments using HealthSherpa.
