Importing Clients and Leads

How it works:

Importing Clients
Access the “Clients” tab and select “Import” on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 1: Download our import CSV template. 

Step 2: Fill out the template with the required and optional fields for each client.


Required fields

  • first_name

  • last_name

  • dob

  • street_address

  • city

  • state

  • zip_code

  • plan_name

  • effective_date

  • gross_premium

  • phone_number

  • email

Optional fields

  • ffm_app_id

  • csr_level

    • Possible values: none, 73%, 87% or 94%

  • plan_hios_id

  • subsidy

  • issuer

  • county

  • ssn

  • net_premium

  • spouse_first_name

  • spouse_last_name

  • spouse_dob

  • Repeats for other_1 through other_10

    • other_1_first_name

    • other_1_last_name

    • other_1_ssn

    • other_1_dob

Tips:

  • Remove the sample client from the sheet before uploading

  • After completing the sheet, do not send CSV file using insecure methods (e.g. email)

Step 3: Once this template is filled out, you can upload it by selecting the file & clicking "Import CSV".

Importing Leads
Access the “Leads” tab and select “Import” on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 1: Download our import CSV template.

Step 2: Fill out the template with the required and optional fields for each lead.

Required fields

  • first_name

  • last_name

  • phone (Only required if email is not provided)

  • email (Only required if phone is not provided)

Optional fields

  • zip_code

  • county

Tips:

  • The template for uploading Clients and Leads are different

  • Remove the sample lead from the sheet before uploading

  • After completing the sheet, do not send CSV file using insecure methods (e.g. email)

Step 3: Once this template is filled out, you can upload it by selecting the file & clicking "Import CSV".

Refresh your page, and your uploaded clients and leads will now show on your HealthSherpa dashboard!
