Agency administrators can manage both direct downline agents and sub-agencies from the Agency page.
In this article we'll cover:
Viewing downline accounts
When an agent or sub-agency uses the agency join code to link their HealthSherpa account to an agency, the account will appear on the Agency page.
From the Overview tab, agency administrators can view direct downline agents and sub-agency accounts.
To search for a:
Direct downline agent: In the Your agents section, type the agent’s name or National Producer Number (NPN) into the search bar.
Sub-agency: Type the sub-agencies name into the search bar within the Your sub-agencies section. Administrators can also go to the Insights tab, and select the Sub-agencies section to view sub-agencies and their hierarchy.
Selecting an agent or sub-agency name opens visibility into that downline account. This can be helpful when assisting with consumer escalations and trend spotting.
When viewing a downline account, a reminder banner displays at the top of the page. Use this banner to return to the administrator’s account at any time.
Removing downline accounts
Primary admins can request removal of a direct downline agent or sub-agency account from their agency hierarchy at any time.
When removing an account, primary admins can choose to either:
Release the account: The account holder keeps access to the account and the consumer records associated with the account. The agency no longer has visibility into the account or the associated consumer records.
Terminate the account: The account holder’s access to the account is removed. The agency maintains visibility into the account and the associated consumer records.
Primary admins requesting removal of downline accounts
A primary admin who wants to remove a direct downline agent or sub-agency from their hierarchy must submit a written request to Agent Support.
The request must:
Be emailed to Agent Support at Agent_Support@HealthSherpa.com
Copy the direct downline agent or primary admin of the sub-agency
Contain specific information about the account being removed:
Name
National Producer Number (NPN)
Email address
Clearly state:
The primary admin is requesting to remove the account from the agency
Whether the account should be released or terminated
Downline accounts requesting removal from an agency
A direct downline agent or sub-agency who wants to be removed from an agency's hierarchy should contact the primary admin of that agency for approval.

Direct downline agents can view agency information by going to the Settings page and selecting the Agency affiliation tab.
Administrators of a sub-agency can view upline agency information by going to the Agency page. From the Settings tab, select Upline affiliation.
Only the primary admin of a sub-agency can request removal from their upline agency.
