The Broker Bonuses program lets eligible agents earn bonus dollars from select carriers when an enrollment submission is completed through HealthSherpa.

Broker Bonuses program at a glance
The Broker Bonuses program lets agents earn bonus dollars from select carriers when an enrollment submission is completed through HealthSherpa.
Carrier-funded bonus campaigns can vary by carrier and state, and may have eligibility requirements. Agents do not need to sign up separately to be eligible. Broker Bonuses are applied automatically when an enrollment submission meets the campaign requirements.
Broker Bonuses are not a referral program. The agent remains the Agent of Record (AOR), and the agent’s National Producer Number (NPN) is used on the enrollment.
These bonuses are exclusive to HealthSherpa, paid by HealthSherpa, and are in addition to any standard carrier commissions, bonuses, or overrides.
Available Broker Bonuses
Go to the Bonuses page, then choose the Broker Bonuses tab. The Exclusive Broker Bonuses section will display available bonuses when offered by a carrier.
The Exclusive Broker Bonuses section only displays active bonuses, and eligibility criteria may vary by carrier (for example, specified geography).
HealthSherpa emails eligible agents when new bonuses are available.
Tracking bonus payouts
Agents can track bonus payouts on the Bonuses page. Select the Broker Bonuses tab to view the Your earned bonuses dashboard.
To receive bonus payouts, agents must complete additional steps on the Bonuses page so that payments can be processed.
Broker Bonuses payment timelines vary. Payments are processed based on specified carrier terms and vary by campaign. The Your earned bonuses dashboard will not display Broker Bonuses until verification and reconciliation have been completed.
