Send a message to all your clients who need to renew – with just a click!

How it works

1. Select clients

Press the "Renewal email" button on your Dashboard. By default, this will include every client who hasn't renewed. If you only want to email certain clients, select them first, then press the "Renewal email" button.

2. Customize the email

From here you can customize your email message, change your reply-to email, run a test email, and when you're ready, send the final email out.

The email includes a button to renew. This points to your custom HealthSherpa marketing link, where any enrollments have your NPN applied. (If you prefer your clients contact you to enroll, rather than self-enroll, just update the custom message to make that clear to them.)

3. Your clients receive the email

Your client will receive an email from you, which looks like this:

4. Your clients get renewed

Some clients will likely get in touch with you to renew them. For those who decide to click the button and enroll themselves, they'll go through your custom branded enrollment site, where your NPN attaches to every enrollment. Here's the client's experience step-by-step:

  • They land on the Plan List, with their existing plan in the cart (or if that plan is gone, the crosswalk'd plan). Their existing quoting details set (applicants, age, income, household size) but are editable.

  • They can choose a new plan, or keep the plan that's in their cart.

  • They walk through their application, which is pre-filled, and make any changes as needed.

  • After they go through the application, they have the option to change plans, if they want.

  • They submit the enrollment and are done.

Overall this experience is just like the experience you see as an agent renewing someone.

Other details

  • You can only send a Renewal email to the same client a maximum of 3 days

  • We automatically don't send the email to clients who:

    • Have already received this Renewal email more than 3 times in the past 7 days

    • Have already renewed for the upcoming Plan Year

    • Have pressed "unsubscribe" on these emails.
