Wellcare (Centene) RTS Verification Process

Not sure if you’re RTS (Ready-To-Sell)? Follow the instructions below to check your Wellcare RTS status before submitting an application

Wellcare Broker Portal

Step 1: Click on the following link

Step 2: Login

  • Username = NPN

Note: If you need assistance logging in, please contact the Agent Support line at 866-822-1339.

Step 3: Select a method or device for authentication

Step 4: Enter Passcode

Step 5: Click on Centene Workbench

Step 6: Click on My Credentials and select My Status and Credentials

Step 7: Click on My Appointment Info + Confirm RTS Status

Appointment Status Key:

  • Appointed = Appointed with Wellcare in that state.

  • Pending Enrollment = This state has a JIT (Just In Time) appointment rule. Wellcare will appoint the broker once an application is written in that state.

  • Ready for Appointment = The appointment has been added to the queue for processing.

  • None = The state is a non-appoint state, no appointment required.

  • Terminated = The appointment has been terminated with the state.

Create a Support Ticket!

If it is still unclear on how to identify if you are RTS - create a Support Ticket!

Step 1: Select Support Tickers on the bottom portion of the menu on the left hand side and Click on New Ticket

Step 2: Select the following:

  1. Type: Broker Maintenance

  2. Sub Type: License and Appointments

Step 3: Add in what state / product / plan name you are trying to confirm RTS for and create the ticket.

Note: It can take 2-3 days for a response. You will receive an email update notifying that Wellcare / Centene has responded.
